Established in September 2019 as a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Corporation in Tennessee, Soaring To Success provides online drone instruction, consulting , and drone flight instruction services. Soaring To Success has been a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) since 2019. Cedric Divine, Founder and Chairman, is a service-related disabled Vietnam War Era Veteran. He has been an FAA Certified Remote Pilot since 2016. Mr. Divine has been actively involved in the drone industry since 2010, with expertise in drone equipment, software, and extensive knowledge of various types of drones used to complete specific projects. Since 2015 he has been a certified Farm Service Agency (FSA) Farmer. Mr. Divine has over 40 years’ experience as an electronics technician and 30 years as a low voltage technician for the State of Tennessee
WHO WE ARE

Nita Black is a Business Strategist, consulting with business owners to increase their bottom line. Her core services are business planning, budgeting, and strategic planning. Nita has 30+ years’ corporate banking experience and has owned several businesses. In a volunteer role, she currently serves on the League of Women Voters Memphis/Shelby County Management Team and is Member and Past President of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Memphis Chapter. Nita has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Memphis. She has three beautiful daughters – Jenny, Chellye, and Angie – and seven grandchildren.
Fawn Hentrel is founder and managing partner of the award-winning Accendi Group. She has over 20 years of expertise in working with companies on business management consulting to ensure their human resource strategy, talent, and organizational structure to support their business strategies. She has a diverse HR leadership experience and her engagements span work with clients from start-ups to established sectors in varied industries such as banking, construction, financial services, professional services, media, manufacturing and the public sector.
In addition to her leadership role at Accendi Group, Fawn is recognized as a thought leader in small business and human resources. Fawn has served on boards to provide not only her functional expertise but insight on the trends, opportunities, and challenges organizations are facing today. Fawn has worked with company’s ranging from Deutsche Bank, MTV Networks, Guardian Insurance, Service Master, BrassRing, ABB, City of Memphis, and Thomas & Betts.
Fawn holds an MBA in human resource development from University of Phoenix, and a BA in international business and marketing from Simmons University. Among Fawn’s numerous publications, she is also a host of the Future of Enterprise podcast.
Fawn is the Industrial Board Chairman for Soaring To Success, Inc.
Teresa Allen is a Visual Observer, Mother, and Grandmother. Ms.Allen is trained to assist pilots on construction sites and energy platforms
Ms. Washington is an attorney who has been practicing in the Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County Tennessee for the last 11 years. She also works with people who have been injured in car accidents and other persons with injuries. Her focus is on working with abused and delinquent children in the Memphis area because she has a passion for children. Ms. Washington also has other businesses including a landscaping company and owns some real estate, including a commercial building and a rooming house for veterans. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Statistics and then graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2007. Ms. Washington has two sons of her own and numerous other children that she mentors and represents in court who she considers family as well.
